I was part of a small but talented frog team that partnered with the Obama Presidential Center to establish an experience and technical strategy. At the time the architectural plans were being finalized prior to ground breaking. The center opened in June 2026 and the opening ceremonies took place on June 18. I led the technology strategy work for the frog team assessing how emerging technology may impact the visitor experience.
The frog team worked with the museum director and a team that included representatives from exhibitions, marketing, user experience, design, facilities and collaborates from Prime Access Consulting who worked with the Center on making it one of the most inclusive museum experiences in the United States.
The Obama Center plaza incldes the museum building, a community center, a public library and park renovations.
The letters on the side of the building are from a speech by Obama and were designed by Pentagram and are part of the structure.
The interior includes interactive installations and a replica of the oval office.
