Streetlife was a project that was accomplished through collaboration between the University of Minnesota Design Institute, Department of Landscape Architecture, and Juxtaposition Arts of North Minneapolis.

A semester of discourse and analysis yielded focused and comprehensive design plans for West Broadway Ave, which has been targeted by the city of Minneapolis as a major commuter thoroughfare.  The purpose of the Streetlife studio was to develop plans that gave voice to the underprivileged residents of the historic West Broadway community so as to be heard in the upcoming redevelopment phase of this important artery of the city.

I documented and photographed the progress of the studio for four months and developed the flash website that includes images of the participants, a timeline of studio progress, and the final plans of the Landscape Architecture students.  I also designed display boards for two post-studio exhibitions that, along with the website, were exhibited at the College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture during the Planners Network Conference and at Juxtaposition Arts.
