The Somali Resource was developed as an on-line tool for the Twin Cities Somali Community, the largest such community in North America, and provides information about health, education, housing, etc... for Somali Immigrants living in the Twin Cities.  The website is entirely bilingual (English-Somali), with translations provided in parallel so Somali speakers can learn english equivalencies as they search for information. It also provides a Somali business directory and information about Somalia and the Somali migration to Minnesota.  The site was funded by a grant from the Council on Public Engagement at the Hubert H Humphrey Institute at the University of Minnesota, and co-developed with Mauricio Arango, and Sue Chu, who served as principal investigator for the project.
